Transalis is a cloud-based, fully managed electronic data interchange service for retailers, manufacturers, distributors, logistics companies and other organisations exchanging business documents with trading partners. Its browser-based Web EDI portal supports receiving orders and sending invoices and despatch notes, while integrations and API connectivity extend workflows into ERP, accounting, warehouse and marketplace systems. The service also covers onboarding, data mapping, compliance management, transaction monitoring, product catalogue updates and automated SSCC pallet-label printing.

Pricing spans five published annual packages. eDI Instant costs £495 per year for one trading partner, two message types, unlimited message exchange, cloud-based EDI and ongoing support. eDI Essential costs £1,750 per year and adds two connections total, orders, invoices, advance shipping notices and order responses, plus standard support. eDI Freedom costs £3,950 per year for up to 100 connections, standard and bespoke message types, integrations, reporting options and enhanced support options. eDI Connect costs £14,500 per year, while eDI Connect+ costs £33,500 per year and expands connections, PEPPOL eInvoice connections, system integration choices and support. The vendor's pricing page also describes custom quotes with setup, integration and monthly subscription charges, while the product page publishes these annual packages. A 30-day free demo is available, but there is no free plan.

Transalis fits organisations that need more than document exchange alone. It translates between TRADACOMS, EANCOM, EDIFACT and ANSI X12, and supports web portal, API, AS2, SFTP, AS4, FTP and HTTPS connectivity. Named integrations include SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage, Xero, Brightpearl, Linnworks, WooCommerce, Shopify, Amazon and eBay. Partner onboarding support and compliance monitoring suit businesses managing multiple trading relationships. Smaller teams with only one partner may find eDI Instant appropriate; organisations needing broader connectivity, bespoke message types or several system integrations should consider the higher tiers and their substantially greater annual costs.
