Thankbox review
A group-card and gifting service with added workplace recognition tools.

Thankbox is a web-based group-card and gifting service for individuals, teams and organisations marking birthdays, milestones, farewells and work anniversaries. Contributors can add messages and media to a card, schedule its delivery and pool money for digital gifts. Its business offering adds peer shoutouts and employee occasion tools, making it relevant to teams that want recognition to build on shared celebrations rather than a broader recognition programme.
The one-time card plans are straightforward: Classic Thankbox costs $5.99 and includes unlimited messages, scheduled sending, GIFs and photos, with a $400 gift collection limit. Premium Thankbox costs $9.99 and adds video messages, more than 25 fonts, slideshow playback and custom card design; its gift collection limit is $1,000. Premium Pack offers shared credits across a team plus bulk creation and scheduling. The Team Plan adds unlimited Thankbox use, manager gifting budgets, automations, shoutout Thankboxes and usage analytics. These are distinct offerings, so buyers should compare card purchases with ongoing team needs rather than assume all features come with an individual card.
For workplace use, Thankbox connects through links, email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, and includes team labels, role-level access controls and SSO for eligible enterprise customers. Cloud deployment and GDPR compliance are listed, with support through email, chat and documentation. This gives teams practical ways to coordinate occasions and control gifting, but the product remains centered on cards and gifts. Choose it when shared messages, scheduled delivery and pooled digital gifts are the main job, with recognition workflows as a useful extension. Teams seeking a recognition-first platform with a wider set of core employee recognition workflows may prefer an alternative.
