Tenon is cloud-based construction management software for general contractors, remodelers, subcontractors, and home builders. It brings estimates and proposals, construction schedules, daily logs, field time tracking, RFIs, change orders, budgets, invoices, selections, client communication, and AI assistance into one system. Office users require paid seats, while field workers, subcontractors, and clients can be invited for free. Access is available on the web, macOS, iOS, and Android, with Apple Watch support also provided.
Pricing is structured around Starter, Pro, and Enterprise. Starter costs $49 per user per month when billed monthly, or $40 per seat per month with annual billing, and includes core project management, estimates and proposals, basic reporting, and limited Sage. Pro costs $129 per user per month monthly, or $106 per seat per month annually, adding the full product for working GCs, full Gantt and critical path, timesheets, RFIs, takeoffs, and permits and inspections. Enterprise costs $249 per user per month monthly, or $204 per seat per month annually, adding SSO, advanced RBAC, a white-label client portal, dedicated onboarding, SLA-backed support, and custom integrations and API access. A 30-day free trial is available.
The product's main strength is breadth: a builder can connect estimating, scheduling, field records, cost tracking, selections, client sign-off, and finance in one workflow. Integrations with QuickBooks and Claude.ai via MCP extend its ecosystem, while the AI assistant supports drafting and project questions. Starter may suit smaller operations that need core coordination at the lowest listed price, but teams needing full scheduling depth, takeoffs, or permits will need Pro. Larger organizations should consider Enterprise for governance and support features; buyers seeking a free product or advanced controls without the Enterprise tier should look elsewhere.
