Tencent Cloud CDN delivers cached website assets from distributed acceleration nodes, serving static content, large-file downloads, and audio/video on demand. It is aimed at teams that need content delivery alongside controls for cache behavior, access, and edge requests, particularly those already working with Tencent Cloud. Domain onboarding and CNAME-based activation are part of the workflow, while API management supports operational control beyond the web interface.

The feature set extends beyond basic caching. Teams can configure cache expiration and rules, purge URLs or directories, and prefetch URLs to warm the cache. HTTPS acceleration and certificate configuration sit alongside referer, IP, and user-agent access controls.
