Tempus Tools helps metal fabrication shops turn customer drawings into quotes and prepare approved jobs for production. It is aimed at small and mid-sized shops handling custom work and frequent RFQs, especially teams looking to automate drawing-based quote preparation. Users configure machine rates, materials, and pricing rules; the cloud-based product then supports quoting across laser cutting, sheet metal, and fabrication work. It is a quoting and estimating system, not a full ERP or MRP replacement.

The tiers expand from a capped entry plan to broader quoting and cutting controls. Starter costs $100 per active quoting user per month with monthly billing, or $75 per active quoting user per month billed annually, and includes 20 quotes per month, file support, quoting tools, and production documents. Regular is $300 monthly or $225 with annual billing per active quoting user; it adds unlimited quoting, the Web Store, PDF-to-CAD conversion, and a smart shipping calculator. Advanced costs $500 monthly or $375 with annual billing per active quoting user, adding unlimited cutting technologies, customer part and pricing libraries, fine cutting speed rates, and small-hole limit warnings. The annual figures are monthly equivalents.

Its file handling and workflow are the main reasons to consider it: the software reads more than 70 file types, can extract parts from 3D models, convert PDFs to CAD, and use Drawing Doctor to clean geometry. Pricing can include secondary processes such as folding, welding, and coating. Approved work can move into work orders, delivery dockets, and part labels. Integrations include Xero, QuickBooks Online, Zapier, Google Drive, ERP systems, and manufacturing production tools. Shops needing customer self-service can use the Web Store for online quotes, orders, and payments, available on Regular and Advanced. Choose Tempus Tools when drawing-led quoting is the priority; shops seeking a broader ERP or MRP system should look elsewhere.
