Taxomate review
A focused bridge between ecommerce settlements and accounting platforms.

Taxomate is a cloud-based ecommerce accounting automation product for online sellers, accountants, and bookkeepers. It connects sales channels such as Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, Etsy, and WooCommerce with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Wave. Its main role is to bring marketplace settlements and payouts into accounting software, rather than replace a broader bookkeeping system. Ecommerce businesses that need structured settlement bookkeeping, fee summaries, COGS calculations, and accounting entries are the clearest fit.
Pricing is paid and includes a 14-day free trial. The Starter plan costs $12 per month when billed annually and supports one sales channel, unlimited marketplaces, unlimited historical data, COGS tracking, QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave integrations, plus unlimited users. Multi-channel adds unlimited sales channels while retaining the other listed Starter capabilities. The QuickBooks Inventory Sync plan includes QuickBooks inventory synchronization, FBA inventory sync, fee breakdown per SKU, sales invoices inventory, and inventory history. Pricing is calculated using monthly order volume and sales-channel count, so the published plan structure is more useful for comparing capabilities than estimating every subscription cost.
Taxomate's strongest area is settlement-focused workflow automation. It can automatically sync settlements and COGS invoices, post journal entries or sales invoices, calculate COGS using the average cost method, map accounts and VAT, and match entries with bank payments in one click. QuickBooks users can also add inventory synchronization through the dedicated plan. The trade-off is scope: it is web-only, does not provide bank feeds, and is not a full bookkeeping environment. Choose it when ecommerce settlement detail and marketplace-to-accounting connections are the priority; choose a broader bookkeeping platform when you need core bookkeeping functionality in one system.
