Our verdict on Tassomai
Tassomai is an online revision program for school-age learners preparing for exams including 11+, 13+ and GCSEs. Its curriculum-mapped multiple-choice quizzes, adaptive question selection, spaced repetition and personalized study programme are designed to make regular practice more structured. Tutorial videos, linked learning resources and Mai, an AI-powered tutor, add learning support; parent and teacher dashboards provide progress information. It is available on web, iOS and Android, making it suited to families seeking guided study across devices as well as schools assigning class tasks.
The monthly family plans are organized by year group and subject scope. Years 3 to 6 costs £8.99 per month and includes maths, English and science for Years 5 and 6, plus 11+ preparation. Years 7 and 8 is £29.99 per month, covering science, English, maths, Latin and MFL vocabulary, with 13+ preparation. Years 9 to 11 costs £44.99 per month and extends coverage to subjects including geography, history and computer science, alongside GCSE preparation. A 7-day free trial is available, but it requires a card; there is no perpetual free plan. The rising price and age-banded coverage make it important to match the subscription to the learner's stage.
Its strongest fit is learners who benefit from frequent, adaptive practice and adults who want visibility through parent or teacher dashboards. Teacher-set class tasks support school use, while email and phone are listed support channels. Tassomai is less suitable for buyers seeking a free ongoing option or a single plan with the same subject range for every age group. Families should compare the relevant year's subjects and monthly cost before starting the trial; schools may value the task-setting and student-insight features when coordinating revision.
