Tajir RMS review
A low-cost, accounting-led RMS for small retailers on web and Windows.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Tajir RMS brings point-of-sale billing, barcode scanning, inventory, purchasing, warehouse management, customer ledgers, vendor management, and double-entry accounting into one retail management system. It is aimed at retailers, wholesalers, and distribution businesses that need operational and financial records connected, including businesses managing multiple locations, batches, expiry dates, or serial numbers. The Windows edition can operate offline, while the cloud application is available on the web.
Pricing is structured around a one-time activation fee and annual plans. The One-Time Activation Fee is $599 and covers installation, initial configuration, and full data migration assistance. The 1-Year Plan is $99 per year with all core modules, unlimited users, daily cloud backup, and email support. The 2-Year Plan is $89 per year and adds real-time sync, priority support, and a dedicated account manager. The 3-Year Plan is $79 per year and adds custom branding, on-site setup, and a 24/7 dedicated support line. The longer plans add support and deployment services rather than changing the system’s core retail scope.
Its strongest fit is for accounting-heavy retail operations: Tajir includes P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow, and bank reconciliation reports, alongside purchase orders, bill conversion, vendor ledgers, credit tracking, and aging reports. VAT/GST-compliant invoices, purchase bills, quotations, and delivery challans support tax-oriented workflows, while role-based access control and audit logs add administrative oversight. The trade-off is a narrower platform and ecosystem footprint, with web and Windows access and a focused integration list covering WhatsApp API, Tally Export, ZATCA Phase 2, and GST. Choose Tajir when integrated accounting and inventory control matter more than broad platform coverage; businesses seeking wider integration options may prefer an alternative.
