SyvaSoft Trading ERP is a retail and wholesale ERP for single stores, multi-outlet retailers and distributors. It brings point-of-sale billing, inventory, purchasing, pricing, loyalty, GST workflows and reporting into one system. Retail teams get barcode scanning, offline billing, returns, shift closing, batch and expiry controls, purchase orders, reorder automation and ecommerce synchronization. Its open-source status and deployment options—cloud, private cloud and on-premise—make it relevant to businesses that want more control over their retail technology environment.

The plan structure follows operating scale. Single store includes POS, inventory and purchasing, GST billing and e-invoicing, basic loyalty and standard reports. Chain adds inter-store transfers, in-transit stock, store-group pricing, promotions, loyalty and campaign management, ecommerce and marketplace synchronization, plus consolidated and store-wise P&L. Pricing is contact-sales, with final costs depending on users, modules and integration scope. Buyers should therefore define their outlet, hardware, integration and reporting requirements before comparing proposals.

Its strongest fit is retail control rather than general-purpose accounting. The system connects inventory across outlets and warehouses, blocks sales of expired items, tracks vendor performance and supports sell-through, dead-stock, margin and store-performance reporting. Integrations include Tally ERP, the GST e-invoice portal, payment terminals, ecommerce platforms, barcode scanners and printers. Retail chains needing GST-compliant processes, multi-location stock and store-level reporting should shortlist it. Businesses seeking a deeply general accounting system or a platform beyond web access may prefer an alternative with that emphasis.

SyvaSoft Trading ERP pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Native POS with barcode scanning, offline billing, returns and shift closing
    • Batch, expiry and stock controls support multi-outlet inventory accuracy
    • Chain plan adds ecommerce sync, promotions and consolidated P&L reporting
  • Where it doesn't
    • Pricing is quote-based and depends on users, modules and integrations
    • Web platform focus may not suit teams seeking a broader desktop deployment
    • Accounting centers on GST and retail operations rather than a broad accounting suite
