Syntrofos review
A memory-focused iPhone companion with voice chat, reminders, and detailed personality controls.

Syntrofos is an iPhone AI companion for people who want ongoing personal conversations that retain selected context over time. It can remember details such as names, preferences, dates, and relationships across chats, while supporting both text and voice conversations. The app is free to download and use, with one-time in-app credit packs listed in the App Store. Its strongest fit is for users who value continuity, reminders, and control over how their companion communicates.
Memory is the central feature. Users can browse, edit, or delete stored personal memories rather than leaving retained information entirely opaque. Syntrofos also supports plain-language smart reminders and automatically recognizes important dates. Personal AI profiles add another layer of customization, with eight preset personalities plus controls for personality traits, tone, speaking style, and humor. Privacy controls cover conversations and memories, giving users direct settings for managing these parts of the experience.
The main trade-off is focus and platform scope. Syntrofos is designed for iPhone use, so it is not a fit for someone seeking access across multiple platforms. Its feature set centers on conversational companionship, memory, reminders, voice interaction, and customization; it does not include verified proactive messaging or image and video features. Choose it if a controllable, memory-focused companion on iOS matches your needs. Consider an alternative if broader device access, richer media interaction, or proactive outreach is essential.
