Synq is an all-in-one church management platform for SBC ministry leaders and growing churches that need more than basic attendance tracking. Its Check-In module supports kiosk, phone, and volunteer-roster modes for children and events, including whole-household check-in, printed child labels, parent claim tickets, guardian-matching pickup codes, allergy and medical flags, and attendance records connected to person timelines and reports. Access is available through web, iOS, and Android channels, with current mobile access provided through a progressive web app.
Pricing is organized around campus scope and platform breadth. Growth costs $49 per month and includes core church modules, People, Groups, Check-In & Events, email and SMS communications, and a single campus. Founding Member costs $199 per month and adds all 23 modules, a three-year rate lock, and priority concierge migration. Standard costs $299 per month with all 23 modules, single-campus access, multi-campus expansion, and five staff phone numbers. Standard — two campuses costs $499 per month and includes all 23 modules for two campuses. A 60-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
The strongest fit is a church that wants check-in connected to people records, groups, giving, events, reports, and mobile access rather than operating as a standalone kiosk tool. Live attendance, room capacity, and ratio tracking help leaders monitor current activity, while role-based access and immutable audit logs support administrative oversight. The tradeoff is scope: churches seeking only simple check-in may not need the wider platform or its higher-priced tiers. Churches with multiple campuses can choose a plan built for expansion, while single-campus organizations should weigh whether Growth provides enough of the broader system.
Synq pros and cons
- Where it wins
- Kiosk, phone, and volunteer-roster check-in modes
- Pickup security codes, medical flags, and printed labels
- Live capacity, ratio, attendance, and audit tracking
- Where it doesn't
- The $49 plan is limited to a single campus
- Native iOS and Android apps are still in development
- The full 23-module platform costs more than focused tools
