SuperSmart Moving review
A broad moving-operations system for teams comfortable with open-source deployment.

SuperSmart Moving is a CRM and operations platform for moving companies, covering office staff, sales teams, dispatchers, and crews. Its scope runs from lead intake and quote building to customer portals, scheduling, dispatch, crew workflows, signed paperwork, communications, payments, and reporting. Teams can use it through the web, iOS, or Android, while the Community edition supports self-hosted deployment under AGPL with full source on GitHub and no account required.
The plan structure is straightforward. Community is free forever and includes the core open-source product, self-hosting, and access to the source code. The Sustaining Partner plan costs $1,999 per year and includes everything in Community, plus a direct line to the core maintainer, updates delivered the day they ship, first look at new features, and placement on the Sustaining Partners page. The product’s integrations include Stripe, Twilio, SendGrid, RingCentral, Google Places, and webhooks, giving teams options for payments, messaging, communications, location data, and connected workflows.
Operational depth is the main reason to consider SuperSmart Moving. The system combines capacity-aware scheduling, rate-card estimates with automatic travel and drive-time calculations, a customer-facing quote portal with e-signatures and deposit collection, and a dispatch board showing trucks, crews, and job progress. Crew workflows add staged job timers and tablet paperwork, while signed bills of lading, change orders, releases, and damage reports support the job record. Teams wanting an open-source system with broad moving-company workflows should consider it; businesses seeking a simpler tool or avoiding self-hosted software may prefer a narrower option.
