StudyTab review
A feature-rich web PWA for turning varied study materials into adaptive flashcards.

StudyTab is a browser-based study workspace for students preparing for exams and other structured learning goals. It turns PDFs, videos, web pages, handwritten notes, typed notes, or topics into flashcards, then schedules review with FSRS or SM-2. Its study scope extends beyond basic question-and-answer cards through linked notes, ten card types, OCR for scanned and handwritten PDFs, an AI tutor grounded in uploaded materials with citations, and knowledge-graph tracking for concept mastery and gaps.
The freemium pricing structure gives learners a meaningful starting point. The Free plan includes notes, flashcards, and spaced-repetition review. Pro costs INR 199 per month and adds a knowledge graph plus a larger AI allowance. Premium costs INR 499 per month and adds higher AI limits and advanced features. This makes the free tier suitable for core review, while the paid plans are aimed at learners who need more AI capacity or deeper study tools.
StudyTab's strongest fit is for people who want varied source handling and more control over how they study in one web-based Progressive Web App. Offline study, Anki import and export, OCR, cited tutoring, and mixed card formats give it a broad workflow for structured learning. It is less suited to someone seeking a native app experience or a narrowly focused flashcard tool with no paid AI tiers. Choose it for advanced, source-driven study; consider an alternative if web-only access or monthly paid allowances do not fit your requirements.
