Storyloft is a book-writing and publishing workspace for fiction authors, nonfiction writers, indie publishers, and self-publishing authors. It brings a long-form manuscript editor together with Eddy, a manuscript-aware AI editing assistant, research and citations, worldbuilding, illustrations, cover creation, automatic formatting, and publishing exports. Authors can work in a browser or on Windows and macOS, then prepare print-ready PDFs and reflowable EPUB 3 ebooks from the same manuscript. Controls include trim size, margins, gutters, bleed, page numbers, themes, typography, and page geometry.
The plan structure supports an initial free workflow, but the limits are clear. Start Free includes 10 image credits, unlimited worldbuilding, one manuscript up to 5,000 words, ebook and print publishing, book cover creation, and custom illustrations.
