Our verdict on Storyflow
Storyflow is a browser-based visual workspace for planning websites and apps before high-fidelity design. It is aimed at product teams, designers, strategists, and collaborators who need to map sitemaps, user flows, page structures, and layout blocks in one low-fidelity canvas. Objects can be moved around, references can include screenshots, PDFs, and links, and sharing supports both view-only and editable links.
Its standout feature is AI-assisted structure planning: users can start from a prompt and generate a site structure, then arrange the resulting page, flow, and layout objects on the infinite canvas. The 200+ framework templates provide additional starting points. Figma is the listed integration, while exports to PNG, SVG, and PDF support handoff and documentation. Team Workspace adds real-time multi-editor collaboration, roles, and permissions for shared work.
Storyflow is paid-only during early access, with Plus, Pro, and Max plans. Plus includes unlimited shared boards, 200+ Story Blueprints, increased AI usage, and unlimited file uploads. Pro adds AI image generation and 30× more AI usage than Free, alongside the blueprint library and unlimited uploads. Max adds AI image generation, Team Workspace, roles and permissions, and real-time team collaboration. Choose Storyflow for structure-first planning and collaborative wireframing; choose a high-fidelity design tool such as Figma when clickable prototypes or detailed interface design are required.
