Our verdict on STARZ
STARZ is a paid video streaming service for viewers seeking its original series alongside movies and docuseries on demand. The service offers ad-free viewing, offline downloads and up to four simultaneous device streams. Titles can be browsed by genre and category, and supported platforms include web, Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, as well as streaming devices, game consoles and smart TVs. It is a focused choice for people who want STARZ programming and on-demand viewing rather than a service selected for live features.
Pricing has two listed options: the Monthly Plan is $11.99 per month, while the Annual Plan is $69.99 per year. The monthly plan highlights ad-free streaming and offline downloads; the annual plan is described as an annual subscription. The annual price is a prepayment, so the billing commitment differs from paying month to month. The pricing page may show limited-time discounted prices alongside regular prices, and subscriptions obtained through other providers can have different availability, pricing or device access. Buyers should compare the terms for their subscription route before choosing.
The strongest fit is a viewer who values STARZ originals, ad-free playback and the ability to download titles for offline viewing. Four simultaneous streams can also suit households sharing an account across devices. It is less compelling for someone primarily seeking live programming or a free way to watch, since STARZ is paid and fewer live features are listed. Consider another service if live features are central to the decision; choose STARZ when its on-demand catalog and ad-free viewing are the priority.
