Staff+ is an open-source Minecraft moderation and utility plugin for multiplayer networks running Paper, Folia, Purpur, and Velocity. It is designed for administrators who need structured punishment controls across multiple servers, with commands for bans, temporary bans, IP bans, mutes, temporary mutes, and warnings. The plugin also records player punishment history and staff history, supports staff rollback, protects moderator hierarchies, and provides configurable warning escalation. Paper-based servers receive additional staff tools, including vanish, inventory inspection, spectator follow, gamemode shortcuts, and flight controls.
The strongest fit is a network that needs shared moderation data rather than isolated server records. Staff+ can use SQLite or MySQL for shared punishment storage, while Velocity adds proxy-level pre-login ban, IP-ban, and network-wide mute enforcement. That combination gives administrators a way to apply moderation rules at both server and network levels. Migration support covers seven listed platforms, which can reduce the work involved in moving existing punishment records. Discord webhooks provide a separate channel for logging moderation actions, and integrations also include Geyser Forms and the Modrinth update notifier.
Staff+ is free and open source, with self-hosted deployment. Its scope is focused on moderation operations rather than a broad server-management suite: Paper includes the extra staff utilities, while proxy enforcement is provided through the Velocity edition. Administrators should choose it when shared punishment storage, audit-oriented histories, escalation, rollback, and proxy controls are priorities. Networks should look elsewhere if they need a hosted service or prefer a single deployment model without separate server and proxy editions.
