SongBeamer review
A capable desktop worship presenter with flexible one-time licensing for Windows and macOS.

SongBeamer is desktop presentation software for churches and worship teams. It brings song lyric presentation and editing, Scripture lookup with over 100 Bible translations, stage monitoring and multi-monitor projection into one application. It also handles videos, DVDs, live video, image slideshows, PDF/XPS files and PowerPoint presentations. Churches can use it on Windows or macOS, with options for a single computer, up to five computers or six or more computers through a site license.
Pricing is structured around one-time licenses rather than a free plan or recurring software tier. The license for one PC costs $124 and is valid on Windows or macOS. A license for up to five PCs costs $199, while the site license costs $299 and is intended for six PCs or more. Each plan includes updates downloaded within one year after ordering at no additional charge. This structure suits churches that want to purchase desktop presentation software for a defined number of computers, especially when several systems need access.
Its strongest fit is for worship teams that need more than lyric display. CCLI SongSelect import supports song workflows, while Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress, MIDI, OSC and NDI broaden its connections with presentation and production setups. Song printing with chords and guitar tabs adds a useful preparation feature. The trade-off is a focused desktop approach: there is no free plan, no listed AI functionality and no platform option beyond Windows and macOS. Churches seeking a one-time licensed tool for songs, Scripture, media and stage output should consider SongBeamer; teams requiring another platform or a free option should look elsewhere.
