SnapTrade review
SnapTrade connects brokerage accounts with normalized portfolio data and trading APIs.

SnapTrade is a cloud API platform for applications that need brokerage connectivity. It targets fintech developers, portfolio-analysis products, trading applications and other teams building investing experiences. The API normalizes balances, holdings, orders and transactions, while also providing cost-basis and tax-related investment data. Applications can connect users through a brokerage connection portal, authenticate with OAuth or API keys, and receive webhook events as account activity changes.
Pricing is divided into development and launch options. The Build plan costs $0 per month and includes development and testing, five connected accounts, real-time data, trading, and Discord community support. Launch platform costs $100 per month and offers real-time or daily data options, unlimited connected users, and Support Center plus Discord access. Separate usage plans charge $2 per connected user per month for real-time data, including trading, or $1 per connected user per month for daily data, which is read-only. Custom pricing adds volume discounts, higher rate limits, dedicated Slack and priority support, and integration assistance.
The platform fits products that need a broad brokerage ecosystem without building separate account models for each connection. SnapTrade lists 40 integrations and supports SDKs for multiple programming languages, market and limit orders, webhook events, and a sandbox environment. Trading availability depends on what each brokerage permits, and the daily-data tier does not include trading. Teams wanting normalized portfolios, tax data and account actions in one API should consider SnapTrade; teams needing only read-only daily data may prefer the lower per-user tier, while teams requiring a different brokerage footprint or deeper custom support should evaluate alternatives alongside the Custom plan.
