SnapKiosk turns an iPad into a full-screen browser kiosk for one configured website. It is aimed at organizations running self-service check-in, donation, registration, retail browsing, training, waiver, or information-display stations. Its free app centers on a single-site workflow rather than a general-purpose kiosk suite, making it a fit when visitors need one web destination and the iPad should stay within that experience.

Session cleanup is a central strength: SnapKiosk can clear cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, HTTP credentials, cache, and web-view history between users. It also blocks mailto, tel, and app deep links, and suppresses JavaScript prompts, pop-ups, downloads, and long-press menus. For unattended stations, an idle attract screen returns to tap-to-begin behavior, with configurable reset timing and a warning before reset. These controls suit shared-device workflows where one visitor's session should not carry into the next; they do not amount to broader content filtering or a website allowlist/blocklist.

The app is free, and the vendor describes managed configuration for the homepage, idle behavior, and lockscreen branding, plus QR-based onboarding. It integrates with Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Mosyle, Kandji, JumpCloud, Workspace ONE, and Apple Configurator 2. A supervised iPad can be locked using Autonomous Single App Mode with MDM authorization. That makes SnapKiosk more suitable for managed deployments than for teams seeking multiple apps in one kiosk or richer content controls. Choose it for a focused, no-cost single-website station; look elsewhere if the workflow needs multi-app navigation or broader restrictions.
