SnapComms is employee communication software for organizations reaching office-based, remote, frontline, and non-desk employees. Its cloud-based Content Manager supports targeted publishing across desktop, mobile, and digital signage, with alerts, tickers, newsletters, surveys, quizzes, emergency messages, and registration alerts. The platform is suited to teams that need urgent or segmented communications across multiple devices rather than a broad employee intranet. It launched in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2007 and is now an Everbridge company.
The platform’s channel coverage is its clearest strength. Organizations can send desktop alerts, video alerts, tickers, RSS tickers, screensavers, email, SMS, web messages, and webhook-driven communications. Employees can also access a mobile app with a newsfeed and push notifications. Audience targeting supports organizations, groups, teams, and individual employees, while scheduling, recurrence, delivery controls, and real-time readership, delivery, engagement, and success reporting support planned and urgent campaigns. Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SharePoint, SMTP, Slack, Zapier, and webhook integrations help it fit into existing communication workflows.
Pricing is quote-based: both the Inform and Engage packages require a conversation with sales. Inform includes Desktop Alert, Video Alert, Ticker, RSS Ticker, Screensaver, and Emergency Alerts. Engage includes those channels plus Quiz. A 30-day trial is available, and there is no free plan. Content moderation, approval workflows, custom and ready-to-use templates, surveys, RSVP, and registration alerts add control for managed communications. Choose SnapComms when targeted, cross-device alerts and frontline reach are priorities; choose a broader intranet-focused product when the main need is a wider employee destination for ongoing collaboration and company content.
