A focused ecommerce email platform with automation, recommendations, SMS, and analytics.

SmartrMail is an email and SMS marketing platform built for ecommerce merchants. Its feature set covers newsletter creation, automated customer journeys, abandoned-cart and browse-abandonment emails, audience segmentation, product recommendations, email capture forms, analytics, and SMS campaigns. The product is best suited to stores that want product-focused email automation connected to their ecommerce platform rather than a broader marketing suite.
Pricing is structured around active subscribers. The Free plan costs $0 per month and supports up to 200 active subscribers, three emails per subscriber per month, 50+ email templates, automation templates, capture pop-ups and forms, and integrations with Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and Neto. Essential starts at $10 per month with unlimited active subscribers, 12 emails per subscriber per month, AI email copy in automations, product recommendations, and detailed sales-from-email reporting. Pro starts at $49 per month and adds 24 emails per subscriber per month, 1,000 SMS credits monthly, smart A/B testing, Send at Best Time, and Smart Resend to non-openers. Both paid plans also use active-subscriber pricing.
SmartrMail’s main advantage is its ecommerce focus: abandoned-cart flows, browse-abandonment messages, product recommendations, and sales reporting are closely aligned with store revenue campaigns. Its SMS capabilities extend campaigns, automations, segmentation, and reporting beyond email. The trade-off is a narrower ecosystem, with five listed ecommerce integrations, and web-only coverage. Stores already using Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or Maropost Commerce Cloud should find the platform’s scope relevant. Businesses needing broader platform coverage or landing-page functionality should consider an alternative.
