Slick is cloud-based salon and barbershop management software for freelancers, barber shops and larger salon businesses. It combines appointment scheduling, online booking, client records, marketing messages, payments, POS, reporting, staff management, commission calculations and stock management. The platform runs on web, iOS and Android, and supports multiple locations through separate calendar columns. For smaller salons, its core appeal is bringing booking, payment and commission workflows into one paid system without requiring a high starting budget.
Pricing is structured across three monthly plans. Essential costs $22 per month and includes online booking, reports and stock management, unlimited SMS reminders and 50 marketing SMS credits. Advanced costs $37 per month and adds split payments for booth rental and hybrid models, vacation tracking and allowances, unlimited SMS reminders and confirmations, and 500 marketing SMS credits. The highest tier costs $250 per month and includes unlimited staff and booth renters, multiple card readers, split payments and commissions, and a dedicated account manager. The published pricing page states that prices are exclusive of tax.
Slick also covers the operational features that support commission-based businesses. Its appointment calendar includes drag-and-drop booking and customizable staff schedules, while online booking can connect with Instagram and Facebook booking buttons. Integrated POS, card readers and Tap to Pay support payments, with deposits, card-on-file payments and no-show protection available. Stock tracking includes barcode scanning and purchase orders, and staff tools include KPIs, payroll reports and vacation tracking. Slick is a practical fit for small salons that want broad day-to-day management features alongside commission calculations. Salons needing highly detailed commission rules should compare alternatives with more specialized commission controls.
