Skada review
A configurable, free WoW meter for detailed damage, healing, threat, and encounter analysis.

Skada is an open-source World of Warcraft addon for players who want to record and review combat statistics inside the game. It covers damage and DPS, healing, overhealing, total healing, and threat, while also offering modules for deaths, interrupts, dispels, crowd control, power, and friendly fire. Its intended audience is WoW players who want more detail than a basic damage display, with configurable presentation and saved fight segments for comparing encounters.
The main strength is the depth of its combat view. Skada keeps segmented fight history and supports detailed spell and damaged-target breakdowns, helping players examine where damage or healing came from. The module-based design also lets the meter cover several encounter needs without limiting the display to damage alone. Multiple simultaneous windows can show different views at once, and bar, inline, and data-text formats provide flexibility for arranging information during play.
Skada is free and open source, with an MIT-licensed addon metadata designation. Its focus is deliberately narrow: World of Warcraft combat tracking rather than a broader game or platform ecosystem. Players who want a traditional, configurable WoW meter for damage, healing, threat, and related encounter events should find its feature coverage well aligned with that goal. Players seeking cross-game coverage or a tool centered on analysis beyond in-game combat should consider a different type of product.
