SimpleTix review
A practical choice for ticketed venues, timed entry, and recurring admissions.

SimpleTix is an event ticketing and registration platform for small and medium-sized organizers. It covers online and in-person sales, general admission, reserved seating, timed entry, season passes, memberships, attendee questions, payment processing, reporting, and onsite operations. The iOS and Android Organizer app supports scanning, admissions, sales, and offline check-in, making the product a practical fit for venues, attractions, and recurring admissions rather than organizers whose main need is complex program registration.
Pricing is primarily per ticket. Online sales are listed at 79¢ plus 2% per ticket, with fees that can be passed to buyers and immediate payouts. In-person and box-office sales use a flat per-ticket fee and support Square and Stripe readers, cash, complimentary tickets, and both mobile platforms. Season Tickets are charged on total season-pass value and support general admission or reserved seating, including the same seat across all dates. Free events provide full platform access, QR scanning, and check-in, while GA and Flex Pass tickets have zero fees.
The feature set is strongest around admissions and event operations. Organizers can create custom registration pages, collect attendee questions, use promo codes and discounts, recover abandoned carts, export attendee badge PDFs, embed widgets, send webhooks, and schedule reports. Integrations include Square, Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, NMI, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, Zoom, Zapier, Make, Integrately, and Smartwaiver. Choose SimpleTix when ticketing, seating, timed entry, scanning, and recurring passes are central. Choose another category fit when a broad multi-session registration workflow is the priority.
