Our verdict on Shout! TV
Shout! TV brings together classic and contemporary cult films, television, comedy, and original programming in an on-demand library, alongside 24/7 live linear channels. Its free, ad-supported option suits viewers looking for a no-cost way to browse this kind of catalog; a paid membership is available for eligible on-demand viewing without ads. Some titles require a free account, and availability varies by territory, so the service is a better fit for flexible browsing than for tracking down a specific title everywhere.
The free plan provides ad-supported access to the film and TV library. The Monthly Membership costs $3.99 per month, while the Annual Membership costs $39.99 per year; both provide ad-free access to eligible on-demand content. That qualification matters: the memberships are not described as removing ads from live channels or every on-demand title. A 7-day free trial is offered, and the trial requires a card. Viewers who are comfortable with ads can stay on the free plan, while those who want eligible titles without ad breaks can consider a membership.
Shout! TV is available on the web, iOS, and Android, with connected-TV availability also listed for Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku. Adaptive playback adjusts stream quality to network bandwidth. The service's focus on cult film and television, comedy, and originals gives it a more specific appeal than a general-purpose viewing option; the live channels add a linear alternative to choosing a title on demand. Choose it for free access to that mix or a paid ad-free option on eligible titles. Look elsewhere if you need every title to be ad-free or dependable access to particular titles across territories.
