Our verdict on Shop
Shop combines product discovery with purchase and delivery tracking for people who shop at participating stores. Available on web, iOS and Android, it lets users browse and search products and stores, save products, and follow stores. Conversational shopping search adds another way to look for products. The app also follows shoppers after checkout, with automatic order tracking for Shopify stores and Shop Pay purchases. Its free access makes it relevant to people who want shopping and tracking features in one place, rather than a tool focused only on comparing prices.
Saved-item alerts are a practical part of the discovery side: Shop can send price-drop and back-in-stock updates for products a user saves. Purchases can go through Shop Pay, and eligible purchases can earn Shop Cash. That reward is tied to eligibility, not presented as a universal cashback rate. Shop also supports in-store pickup checkout and order tracking when a store supports those options. Buyers should treat it as a way to follow saved items and eligible purchases across participating stores, not as a general price-comparison service.
Order tracking covers more than Shopify orders. Users can optionally connect Gmail or Outlook to track purchases from other stores, or add tracking numbers manually and forward tracking emails.
