Share My Lesson is a free web-based resource library and educator community maintained by the American Federation of Teachers. It is designed for educators working across PreK, elementary grades, middle school, high school, higher education and adult education, with additional coverage for professional development, paraprofessionals and specialized instructional support personnel. The library spans subjects including arts, math, science, English language arts, special education, social studies, world languages and cultures, and digital literacy and citizenship. Members can search, download, share and upload teaching materials at no charge.

Its strongest fit is breadth combined with practical file access. Resources include lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, activities, professional-development materials and other formats such as PDF, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, RTF, Google Slides, web links and videos. Search filters cover topic, grade, subject and educational standard, while curated collections help organize discovery. Educators can also upload materials and apply Creative Commons licensing, which supports sharing within a collaborative resource community. EdBrAIn adds AI-based customization for lesson resources, giving educators another way to adapt available materials.

Share My Lesson also extends beyond a static download library. Educator discussion communities, live and on-demand professional-development webinars, and contributed resources from educators and partner organizations make it useful for ongoing professional learning. The access model is membership, and the published plans describe the service as free, with no paid tiers or school licensing plan. Choose it if you want wide grade-level and subject coverage, editable resources and community participation without a listed subscription cost. Consider another option if your priority is a non-web platform, formal paid support tiers or documented school licensing.
