Shadow Weather review
A radar-focused weather app with minute forecasts and event-aware calendar sync.

Shadow Weather is a weather app for Android, iOS and the web, aimed at people who want detailed forecasts and radar alongside planning for upcoming events. It combines daily, hourly and minute-by-minute forecasts with weather alerts, air-quality information and interactive radar. Its focus on storm tracking and calendar-linked forecasts makes it a fit for users who want more than a general daily outlook, while simpler weather needs may not require its broader set of tools.
The app's standout depth is its weather monitoring: users can compare multiple forecast sources, follow severe storm cells and view real-time lightning strikes. Severe-weather notifications and interactive radar complement the forecast intervals, while air-quality information adds another condition to check. Calendar synchronization connects forecasts to upcoming events through the phone calendar, making the app relevant to people who plan around outdoor activities or appointments. It is a specialized combination of radar, short-interval forecasting and event context rather than a narrowly scoped forecast display.
Shadow Weather offers free access and subscriptions or in-app purchases, and its listing says the app contains ads. The published information does not set out subscription prices or specific paid-tier features, so buyers should check the current in-app options before deciding whether to pay. The app is available on Android and iOS; the vendor identifies a web app for premium subscribers. Email is the listed support channel, and the privacy page identifies GDPR compliance. Pick it for minute forecasts, storm detail and calendar-aware planning; choose a simpler option if those capabilities and radar are not priorities.
