Sesame Time is Sesame HR’s workforce time and attendance module for small, mid-market and enterprise teams. Employees can clock in and out through web, iOS, Android and tablets, while managers handle shifts, leave requests, timesheets, overtime, attendance history and reports. Geolocated clock-ins, configurable GPS zones, approval notifications and offline mobile synchronization support distributed or mobile workforces. The cloud service also exports attendance data in PDF, CSV and Excel formats for operational and payroll workflows.
The published plans use per-employee pricing. With annual billing, Essential costs $3.75 per employee per month and covers Core, Time tracking, Time off and Holidays, and Shifts Business. Connect costs $4.25 and adds Tasks and Recruitment Business. Growth costs $6.25 and moves Core, Time tracking, and Time off and Holidays to Enterprise while retaining Shifts, Tasks and Recruitment Business. Scale costs $7 and adds Enterprise time features, SSO and API access. Monthly prices are $5.25 for Essential, $5 for Connect, $6.75 for Growth and $8 for Scale. A 14-day free trial is available, and the minimum billing is 15 employees.
Clock-in flexibility is the standout capability. Tablet employee-code, Face ID, NFC and QR methods sit alongside optional Suprema fingerprint, card and facial-recognition devices, giving organizations several ways to control attendance capture. Configurable clock-in types, attendance rules and offline synchronization further suit sites where connectivity or device preferences vary. Choose Sesame Time if you need scheduling, leave management and geofenced attendance in the same cloud platform, particularly when biometric or tablet workflows matter. Teams seeking a free tier or a smaller minimum commitment should look elsewhere.
