Semplice is a WordPress-based portfolio website builder for designers, artists, illustrators, photographers, and other creatives. Its visual drag-and-drop editor supports grid-based page layouts, portfolio grids, image galleries, custom animations, hover effects, custom typography, responsive breakpoint controls, and custom code. Designers can also create password-protected private projects and customize WordPress blog templates. It is best suited to WordPress users who want highly custom portfolio layouts rather than a basic template-driven site.
Pricing is structured around one-time licenses. Single costs $119 for one license valid for one domain and includes the content editor, responsive controls, custom fontsets, and a gallery slider. Studio costs $168 and adds advanced portfolio grids, blocks, a gallery grid, a Before/After module, and a MailChimp module. Business costs $699 and includes Studio edition features, commercial client projects, and multiple licenses.
