SeedFinder review
A free, open-source toolkit for Java and Bedrock structure searches, seed cracking, and automation.

SeedFinder is a free, open-source Minecraft tool that reads both Java and Bedrock seeds and locates nearby structures from a world seed and player coordinates. It is aimed at players hunting villages, temples, monuments, ancient cities, mansions, portals, and other structures, as well as developers who want programmable access through an API. Browser tools extend the scope to seed discovery, while Windows and Linux workflows support local use and self-hosting.
The search feature is structured for targeted results rather than a general-purpose map. Users can set a search radius, limit the maximum number of results, filter by multiple structure types, and receive results sorted by distance. The hosted REST API accepts both GET and POST scan requests and needs no API key, making SeedFinder a practical fit for scripts, applications, and developer workflows. A local server option also supports self-hosted deployments, while the packaged Windows workflow gives the project a path beyond browser-only use.
SeedCracker adds a browser-based WebAssembly tool for finding Bedrock or Java seeds that match selected structures and coordinates. Flarial Client integration brings the structure-finding workflow into an in-game overlay for users of that client. SeedFinder is a strong choice for Java and Bedrock structure hunters, developers building seed-related tools, and users who value open-source or self-hosted software. It is less suitable for players seeking biome discovery, map-based exploration, or support centered on editions beyond Bedrock.

- Focused on structure searches, without biome search or a map
- Its in-game overlay integration is tied to Flarial Client
