Scripta is a web-based meeting workspace for teams that need more than a basic transcript or summary. It turns notes, imported transcripts, or browser recordings into structured minutes, decisions, and action items. Meeting records can include files, comments, related projects, and follow-up work, while role-based workspaces support viewers, commenters, editors, and admins. Teams that need formal records with clear ownership and permissions are the strongest fit.

Pricing is organized across four monthly plans. Free includes unlimited meetings, two AI write-ups per month, 225 browser-recording minutes per month, one workspace, and search across meetings, decisions, tasks, projects, and documents. Solo costs $9 per month and adds 30 AI write-ups, one account, 5 GB of file storage, and write-up sharing by link. Pro costs $19 per month for up to three people, 60 shared AI write-ups, browser recording with transcription, and 20 GB of storage. Team costs $49 per month for up to 10 people, 150 shared AI write-ups, workspace invitations, role management, and 50 GB of storage.

Scripta’s strongest distinction is the connection between meeting evidence and follow-up work. Decisions can retain supporting transcript quotes, and action items include owners, due dates, and statuses. Search spans meeting records and related information, with PDF and CSV exports available. The platform can import transcripts from Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Otter, and Fireflies, and it offers calendar additions for Google, Outlook, and .ics. However, it remains web-only, and outbound connections to Slack, Notion, Linear, and Jira are not built. Choose Scripta for structured meeting governance; choose another tool if broad connected-app coverage or native desktop and mobile access is central.

Scripta pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Evidence-linked decisions include supporting transcript quotes.
    • Action items track owners, due dates, and statuses.
    • Shared workspaces include role-based access and threaded comments.
  • Where it doesn't
    • Coverage is limited to the web.
    • Connected outbound integrations are not built.
    • AI write-up limits vary by plan.
