Screenly is cloud-based digital signage software for businesses managing one or more displays across locations. From a browser-based dashboard, teams can upload content, publish URLs, build playlists, schedule playback, manage apps, and monitor device health. It supports images, video, audio, PDFs, presentations, documents, spreadsheets, live streams, web pages, and apps. Playback options include dedicated ScreenlyOS players and Screenly Anywhere on browsers, Android, Fire TV, Samsung Tizen, and other supported hardware. It suits teams that need centralized control across distributed screens rather than a tool focused only on basic content display.

Pricing is organized into three annual plans. Starter costs $15 per screen per month and includes up to 5 screens, up to 2 users, 1080p Full HD, offline playback, and cloud API access. Business costs $24 per screen per month, requires a minimum of 5 screens, and adds unlimited screens and users, custom user permissions, and 4K resolution. Enterprise costs $38 per screen per month, requires a minimum of 25 screens, and adds SSO/SAML integration and audit logs. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The five-screen Starter limit makes the entry tier better suited to smaller deployments than to growing networks.

Player operations are a central strength. Screenly provides screen status monitoring and alerts, remote screenshots, reboot controls, diagnostics, offline playback through content caching, and scheduling by hour, day, or date range. Its ecosystem includes Airtable, BambooHR, Google Calendar, Grafana, Outlook Calendar, Power BI, Salesforce, Slack, TradingView, and Weather, along with a cloud API, CLI, MCP server, and Screenly Apps for live content. Choose Screenly if device visibility, remote control, and offline playback matter across multiple locations. Organizations needing SSO, audit logs, or unlimited users should consider Enterprise, while very small teams may find the annual paid structure and Starter limits restrictive.
