Our verdict on Science4Us

Science4Us is an interactive science curriculum from ExploreLearning for kindergarten through second grade, with review applications for grades 3–5. Its scope includes physical, life, earth and space, and inquiry science. Lessons combine animated instruction, interactive games, songs, virtual activities, offline experiments, and investigations. The curriculum also connects science instruction with literacy and math skills and supports whole-group, small-group, and independent classroom use.

The curriculum’s breadth is a central strength for elementary schools that want one program across several science domains. It includes 28 modules, teacher guides, suggested sequencing, assignment creation, assessments, student notebooks, and teacher feedback. Teachers can monitor scores, completion, and time data through reports, while on-demand professional development supports implementation. Virtual simulations and interactive activities add digital practice, while offline activities extend instruction beyond the browser.

Pricing is less transparent than the feature set. ExploreLearning offers a 30-day trial, while paid purchasing uses a contact-sales model and there is no free plan. Science4Us runs through a web browser and is compatible with all devices, but the product is primarily designed for K–2; grades 3–5 use is positioned as review. Schools seeking a multi-domain elementary curriculum with planning and progress-monitoring tools should consider it. Schools needing published subscription rates, a broader primary grade focus, or a native application may prefer an alternative.
