Our verdict on Sceyt
Sceyt is a communications platform for adding real-time in-app chat to websites and mobile applications. It targets developers building one-to-one conversations, group chats, broadcast channels, communities, and customer-communication features. Its feature set covers real-time messaging, offline messaging with queued delivery, media and file transfer, typing indicators, user presence, push notifications, delivery and read receipts, moderation controls, REST APIs, and webhooks. Native SDK and UI kit support is listed for web, iOS, and Android.
The published plans use a freemium model. Free costs $0 per month and includes 100 MAU, all Growth Features, and no credit card requirement. Starter costs $99 per month and adds 1K MAU, unlimited message storage, unlimited concurrent users, and 10 GB of file storage. Growth costs $249 per month and includes 1K MAU, all Starter Features, message search, and 25 GB of file storage. Enterprise is designed for millions of users and lists dedicated infrastructure, on-premises deployment, and migration assistance.
