Save Wizard for PS4 MAX is a desktop editor for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro saves, with support extending to PS4 games on PS5. It is aimed at players who want to apply cheats, modify supported saves, or transfer saves between accounts without editing directly on the console. The workflow uses a USB drive: copy a save to the computer, open it in the client, make changes, then copy the modified save back. Support covers more than 940 PS4 games, including Marvel's Spider-Man, Monster Hunter: World, Red Dead Redemption 2, Diablo III, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and No Man's Sky.
The product has one paid plan, Save Wizard for PS4 MAX, priced at $59.99 as a one-time purchase. That plan includes two profiles, save transfer between accounts, Advanced Mode, user-entered cheats, and free updates for two years from activation. Quick Mode provides a simpler route for applying available cheats, while Advanced Mode supports deeper modification of supported saves, including inventory, progression, and character stats. The published platform downloads cover Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Its strongest fit is breadth: automatic downloads of updated cheats and supported games reduce the need to manage those updates manually, while automatic backups add a safeguard before modifications. Profile re-signing is useful for moving saves between accounts, and the two-profile limit suits players working across a small number of profiles. The trade-off is a desktop-and-USB workflow and reliance on supported games and saves. Players seeking broad PS4 coverage and detailed editing controls should consider it; those wanting a free option or a console-only process should choose another editor.
