Sandbox Software is a cloud-based childcare management platform for daycare centers, preschools, and childcare operators. It brings together online registration with custom forms, child and staff profiles, check-in and check-out attendance tracking, classroom activity and daily-log records, parent and staff messaging, billing, online family payments, reports, and analytics. Staff can work through the web application and Teacher app, while families can access updates, messages, attendance information, daily logs, and invoices through the Parent App or Parent Portal. Its feature set fits centers that want core administrative and family-facing workflows in one system.

Pricing is organized by the number of children. According to the published plans, the 0–24 children tier costs $59 per month with monthly billing or $47 per month with annual billing. The 25–49 tier costs $79 monthly or $63 per month with annual billing; 50–99 children costs $129 monthly or $103 per month with annual billing; and 100–199 children costs $169 monthly or $135 per month with annual billing. Each listed tier includes unlimited users and devices, unlimited customer support, and automated data backups. The published plans show a free trial that requires no credit card, while the product does not offer a free plan.

Operational coverage is the main reason to consider Sandbox Software. Registration, attendance, classroom documentation, communication, invoicing, payments, reporting, and staff scheduling address the recurring needs of childcare centers, while the parent and teacher apps extend access beyond the office. The capacity-based structure makes the cost easier to match to center size, but it also means pricing changes as enrollment grows. Centers wanting a unified childcare workflow and clear plan structure should shortlist Sandbox; organizations that require a free plan should look elsewhere.
