Samsung Smart Call is a caller identification and spam protection feature integrated into the Phone app on supported Galaxy phones. It is aimed at people who want to screen unfamiliar calls and manage unwanted numbers from the phone interface they already use. Smart Call identifies callers not saved in contacts, labels suspected spam and potential fraud, and lets users block numbers or report calls. It also offers local business search from the Phone app.
Its blocking controls are more specific than a single on/off choice: users can block all calls identified as spam or scams, or limit blocking to high-risk scam calls. Manual blocking is also available for numbers from recent calls, messages, or contacts.
