SaluteSpeech is Sberbank’s speech technology service for text-to-speech and speech recognition. It is designed for developers, individuals, and corporate teams creating voice assistants, IVR systems, applications, and other audio experiences. The service combines web access, Windows and macOS desktop applications, and API connectivity. Text-to-speech supports synchronous, asynchronous, and streaming modes, while speech recognition is also available. Synthesis covers 12 languages, with selectable predefined voices and audio export in WAV16, PCM16, and OPUS formats.

Its strongest fit is for projects that need control over speech generation rather than a single basic read-aloud function. SSML supports intonation, pauses, pronunciation, and emotions, giving developers more control over how text is rendered. HTTP REST and gRPC APIs support application integration, and a 4,000-character maximum input length is specified. Desktop users can generate and recognize speech without building an integration first, while corporate plans separate synthesis and recognition capacity. Published package options include 1,000,000 synthesis characters, 1,000 recognition minutes, 55,000,000 corporate synthesis characters, and 20,000 corporate recognition minutes. Corporate pay-as-you-go options are also listed for both capabilities.

Availability is the key consideration for new buyers. New customer connections, new package sales, and Freemium renewals were discontinued from 15 July 2026. Existing packages remain available until expiry or quota exhaustion. That makes SaluteSpeech more suitable for existing users or organizations with continuing access than for teams starting a new deployment. Choose it when its desktop applications, SSML controls, language coverage, and REST or gRPC APIs match an established workflow. Consider an alternative if you need to open a new account, purchase a new package, or depend on ongoing Freemium renewal.
