SalonTouch is salon-management and point-of-sale software from Interactive Designs, Inc. for tanning salons, spas, salons and related businesses. It brings appointment booking, client and staff records, inventory, reporting, marketing communications and payment processing into one system. Tanning-specific workflows cover room and bed types, session, minute and point deductions, packages, recurring EFT memberships and release forms for state compliance records. Its broad feature set suits full-service operators, multi-location businesses and franchises that need more than basic scheduling.
Pricing is organized around Rental, Hosted Standard, Hosted Pro and Hosted Franchise tiers, with annual-billing variants for Rental, Standard and Pro. Rental is a non-hosted, single-location setup with integrated credit-card processing, point of sale, appointments and tan-only services. Hosted Standard adds a hosted service and automated backup. Pro adds an online appointment book, unlimited inventory, resource booking, multiple locations and 500 SMS credits; the Franchise tier adds unlimited franchises, franchise reports and unlimited data storage. Pricing uses a contact-sales model rather than a free plan. Payment and ecosystem connections include Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tap Pay, Constant Contact, Demandforce, Worldpay / Global Payments and Bluefin.
Deployment flexibility is a notable strength: SalonTouch offers cloud, desktop and mobile access, with Windows installation plus iOS and Android apps. Reporting, email and text messaging support ongoing client communication, while biometric security and release forms address operational controls. Support is available through email, phone, tickets and documentation, but not around the clock. The product is a strong choice for salons needing integrated tanning administration, memberships, POS and multi-location or franchise management. Smaller businesses wanting a lightweight, tan-only scheduler may find the broader system and sales-led purchasing approach less suitable.
