Our verdict on Salon Wizard
Salon Wizard is browser-based software for hair salons, barbershops, nail studios, beauty studios, tattoo studios and spas. It brings online booking or booking requests, appointment calendars, digital client records, reminders, salon website tools and staff scheduling into one product. The feature set also covers recurring appointments, client enquiries, reviews, careers pages and multi-location management. It is designed for businesses that want more than a booking page but do not need a narrowly focused website builder.
Pricing is split across Solo, Solo Plus and Team. Solo costs €7 per month or €70 per year and includes online booking and a calendar, client management, a booking page, website embed and email notifications. Solo Plus costs €15 per month or €150 per year, adding an own website, gallery, customer reviews, recurring appointments and a customer area with login. Team costs €29 per month or €290 per year, adding staff management, absences and vacation, roles and access, a team page and multiple locations. A 14-day free trial is available, and the product does not have a free plan. The description also states that there are no per-staff booking fees.
Salon Wizard’s main strength is breadth at the entry price: a small salon can start with booking and client records, then move into website and team features as its operation grows. Automated email and optional SMS reminders, custom-domain options and client history support ongoing customer management. The trade-off is platform scope. The product is web-only, so it may be a poor fit for teams that require native applications or a broader app ecosystem. Smaller salons wanting an affordable all-in-one foundation should consider it; businesses prioritizing extensive integrations or native-platform coverage should look elsewhere.
