Salesforce HR Service is an HR service delivery product for organizations that want employee self-service, structured case handling, and automated support in a Salesforce-centered environment. Employees can submit and track requests, search knowledge articles, and complete tasks such as leave requests or expense claims. HR teams get a centralized workspace for cases and employee information, with support across an Employee Portal, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Chat.
Pricing is divided by use case and service depth. AI Agents for Employees costs $15 per user per month when billed annually and includes unmetered Agentforce actions for employee usage, AI-driven workflows, four support channels, and more than 50 pre-built service catalog items. HR Service Desk - Enterprise Edition costs $50 per user per month annually and adds unified agentic case management, the Employee Service Portal, Generative Knowledge Management, Employee Enablements, approvals, and notifications. Unlimited Edition costs $75 per user per month annually and adds sandboxes, Premier Support Access, and Predictive AI. Agentforce for Service is an additional $125 per user per month and includes fulfillment agents, unmetered flex credit usage, a Service Rep Assistant, translations in 65 languages, and service analytics.
Its strongest fit is for HR teams already aligned with Salesforce and its surrounding ecosystem. MuleSoft integrations support connections with external HR systems, including Workday and SAP, while workflows, routing, approvals, notifications, and knowledge management cover the main service-desk building blocks. The trade-off is focus: the product is web-only, has no free plan, and its broader capabilities require higher-priced editions or an add-on. Choose it for Salesforce-based HR operations that need channels, automation, and AI in one service environment; consider a narrower HR tool if web-only access or higher-tier pricing does not fit.
