Sage One review
A Portugal-focused invoicing tool with tax features and accountant collaboration.

Sage One is a Portugal-focused cloud invoicing product for individuals, small businesses and professionals carrying out commercial, business or professional activities. It creates invoices, quotes, credit notes, debit notes and receipts, while also supporting expense recording and customer account tracking. Electronic invoicing with a digital signature, SAF-T submission to the Portuguese tax authority and online-store API connections make it suited to businesses that need compliant sales administration rather than a broad accounting suite.
The plan structure separates core invoicing from wider financial and collaboration features. Sage One Básica includes QR Code and ATCUD invoice printing, expense tracking, customer tracking, online-store API access and electronic invoicing. Sage One Standard adds unlimited sales documents, transport and return guides, accountant collaboration, financial situation tracking, and receivables and payables tracking. The published offering is paid and includes a 30-day trial rather than a permanent free plan. Standard also has an annual payment option, while prices are shown in euros plus VAT.
Its strongest fit is a Portuguese business that needs tax-aware invoicing, customer records, expense capture and a direct connection with an accountant. Store operators can also benefit from the online-store API, and businesses handling deliveries or returns can use the relevant guides in Standard. Sage One is less suitable for teams seeking full bookkeeping depth, because the product is positioned primarily around invoicing and does not include inventory tracking. It is accessed through the web, with telephone and email support available from Sage Portugal – Software, S.A.
