SaferWatch is web-based carrier qualification and monitoring software for brokers, shippers and transportation businesses. It brings carrier safety, authority, insurance and CSA BASICs data into one view, using DOT, MC, FF or MX numbers for qualification. Teams can search carriers by keyword and multiple criteria, apply configurable concern filters, and maintain watch lists for ongoing compliance changes. Its focus suits transportation organizations that need structured due diligence across a large carrier base.

The product’s strongest area is qualification and risk monitoring. Watch-list monitoring provides daily change alerts, while Fraud Check helps identify possible chameleon carriers. Audit comments and due-diligence snapshots support internal review, and insurance workflows include certificate requests, policy summaries, certificate images and monitoring. The published capabilities also include web services for carrier lookup, watch-list management and change tracking, with API access and transportation management software integration options for broader workflows.

SaferWatch is a paid product with a 30-day trial for CertData. CertData includes insurance certificates, policy summaries, carrier onboarding support and insurance certificate monitoring. A separate Certificate image plan provides access to view, print or save a certificate image for the certificate lifetime. The trial does not include carrier monitoring, so teams evaluating ongoing watch-list alerts should assess that capability separately. SaferWatch is a strong fit for organizations prioritizing qualification, compliance tracking, insurance documentation and fraud screening, especially when API connectivity matters. Buyers seeking contract management, performance scorecards or a carrier portal should consider a different system or pair SaferWatch with another tool.
