Saasu review
Broad accounting tools and integrations, but limited practice-management depth.

Saasu is browser-based and mobile accounting software for sole traders, contractors, startups, and small businesses in Australia. It combines invoicing, quotes, sales orders, online payments, expenses, payroll, timesheets, inventory, reporting, budgets, and job or project tags. Accountants and advisers can collaborate with businesses through customer invoice portals, linked file attachments, and access across web, iOS, Android, and API environments. The product is a fit for businesses that need a broad accounting system rather than a tool built primarily around firm-wide practice workflows.
Pricing is organized by accounting file and billed monthly. Small costs $20 per accounting file per month and includes 3 bank feeds, 1,000 transactions per year, 1 employee, and 2 GB of attachments. Growing costs $35 and raises those limits to 4 bank feeds, 10,000 transactions, 10 employees, and 3 GB. Medium costs $50 with 5 bank feeds, 20,000 transactions, 20 employees, and 5 GB. Large costs $90 with 10 bank feeds, 40,000 transactions, 40 employees, and 10 GB. X-Large costs $250 with 20 bank feeds, 100,000 transactions, 80 employees, and 20 GB. Plans include GST, and a 30-day trial is available without a credit card.
Saasu’s ecosystem covers payment services such as Stripe, PayPal, eWay, and Braintree; commerce platforms including WooCommerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce; and business systems such as Salesforce and Zoho. Its REST API supports JSON and XML, while OFX support adds another banking connection option. Three-month cash-flow forecasting, automated matching, attachments linked to financial records, and customer payments give the accounting workflow useful breadth. Choose Saasu when operational accounting, billing, payroll, and integrations matter most. Choose a dedicated accounting practice-management product instead when deadline management or capacity planning is central to the buying decision.
