Our verdict on Ryver
Ryver combines team chat, task management, file sharing, discussions, and calls in one application. It is designed for small teams that want open Forums for organization-wide conversations, invite-only Teams for private groups, direct messaging, topic threads, searchable conversations, and task boards without separating those activities across multiple tools. Guest participation is available, and the service runs on web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and API access.
The freemium structure gives smaller groups a Free plan for 1–6 users, while a 14-day free trial is also available. Starter supports up to 12 users and adds unlimited chat, unlimited file sharing, task management, and voice and video calls marked beta. Standard supports up to 30 users and adds custom invite links to the Starter feature set. Medium Pack is aimed at teams with 30+ users and includes custom invite links, unlimited chat and file sharing, task management, and beta voice and video calls. Enterprise adds single sign-on, premium support, advanced team management, a testing sandbox, custom invite links, and unlimited chat. The vendor’s published pages show different Enterprise prices, so larger teams should verify the current offer before committing.
Ryver’s ecosystem covers Google Drive, Dropbox, Box.com, Zapier, Outlook, its API, and inbound and outbound webhooks. That gives teams several ways to connect files, automation, email, and custom workflows, though the listed integration set is more focused than products with broader app ecosystems. Choose Ryver if combining conversations with Kanban-style work is more important than maximizing third-party integrations. Teams needing mature call functionality, a wider integration catalog, or more predictable Enterprise pricing should compare alternatives before choosing it.
