Our verdict on RumbleUp
RumbleUp is a web-based peer-to-peer texting platform for political campaigns, nonprofits, advocacy groups, fundraising teams, and other organizations. It supports human-sent SMS and MMS conversations at scale, with tools for team permissions, projects, multiple accounts, contact segmentation, opt-in workflows, automated responses, reporting, and compliance. Unlimited users and texters make it suited to organizations coordinating larger messaging operations rather than small teams seeking a simple shared inbox.
Pricing combines a $19 monthly charge with usage-based messaging rates. The 1 to 10k messages plan charges 3¢ per segment SMS and 8¢ per 2,000-character MMS. The 10k to 250k plan reduces those rates to 2.5¢ and 7¢, while the 250k to 2.5M plan charges 2¢ and 5¢. The +2.5M messages tier has a $0 monthly charge with reduced pricing for usage and other options. Optional enhanced video, outsourcing, and full-service surcharges can also apply. A 14-day trial is available.
