Rocket Tronc is a cloud-based platform for managing tronc schemes and tip distribution across restaurants, bars, pubs, cafés, hotels and multi-venue hospitality groups. It is designed for UK and Ireland businesses that need configurable allocation rules, approval controls, compliance records, employee visibility and payroll exports. Teams can distribute tips using equal, points-based, hours-weighted, department, role, seniority or hybrid methods, while employees can view their individual breakdowns.

The pricing structure makes Rocket Tronc accessible to smaller operators. The Free plan costs £0 per month and includes manual TRONC distributions, CSV import and export, and basic reporting. Pro costs £0.50 per employee per month on monthly billing and adds HR and POS integrations, automated sync and distributions, the Distribution Lab and policy generator, Troncmaster workflow, full reporting, audit trails and advanced analytics. A 7-day free trial is available. Enterprise is aimed at larger operations, adding unlimited locations and employees, custom integrations, SLA and priority support, dedicated onboarding, white-label options and a custom NI savings projection.

Its strongest fit is for hospitality teams that want more control than spreadsheet-based tip allocation while keeping costs low. Troncmaster independence controls, timestamped audit trails, daily record granularity, real-time dashboards and location-level reporting support structured administration across multiple sites. Payroll outputs are available through CSV and PDF exports, with integrations for RocketOS EPOS, Sona HR and Xero Payroll. Businesses should choose Rocket Tronc when flexible tronc rules and auditable payroll handling are priorities. It is less suitable for teams that require a non-web platform, automated distributions on the Free plan, or integrations outside its available and Enterprise options.
