Retable combines spreadsheet-style tables with database features for teams moving operational data beyond conventional spreadsheets or Airtable. Its workspace model supports customizable column types, linked records, lookup and rollup fields, role-based access controls, forms, multiple views, automation, integrations, and API access. Teams can use it to organize shared information, collect external submissions, build user-facing data applications, and manage access through roles. It is available on the web and through a Chrome extension, with cloud and self-hosted deployment options.

Pricing separates a useful entry tier from substantially larger paid capacity. Free costs $0 per workspace and includes one workspace, up to five projects per workspace, up to three collaborators, public forms and views, and 100 records per project. Team costs $12 per user per month when billed monthly and adds unlimited workspaces and projects, 50,000 records per project, automations, webhooks, organization and team management, and a public API. Enterprise adds on-premises or dedicated-cloud deployment, unlimited collaborators, unlimited records, and priority support. A 14-day free trial is also available. The free tier suits small datasets, while the record limit can become restrictive for active operational databases.

Its strongest case is breadth without requiring teams to abandon a familiar table format. Grid, list, kanban, card, chart, calendar, map, and form views let one dataset serve different workflows, while imports from Airtable, Google Sheets, XLS, and CSV can support migration. Integrations include Zapier, Make.com, Pipedream, Albato, Pabbly, Integrately, Latenode, and others. The platform is a good fit for teams needing relational data, permissions, automation, and multiple interfaces in one product. Teams needing a very small dataset may prefer the Free plan; organizations needing more records, advanced controls, or deployment options should consider Team or Enterprise.
